GOOD PEOPLE: They still exist

Last week I lost a pair of sunglasses at Winco. I have had these for 25 years. I left the store thinking I put them in my bag. When I realized that they must have fallen out of the basket, I headed back to the store and asked if anyone turned them in. No.

This past Friday I was shopping again at Winco. So, for the heck of it, I went to the service desk and asked if anyone found a pair of sunglasses in a green cloth bag. She looked in her binder, didn’t see anything, but then she went to a drawer and asked me if these were what I was looking for.

Oh my God. Thank you to the honest person who turned them in. I have regained my faith in the human species! Thanks to Winco for holding them.
