COEUR d'ALENE — A resource fair focusing on mobile home communities is scheduled 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library.

ROC Northwest, a nonprofit focused on building affordable housing through cooperative ownership in Washington and North Idaho, will share information on how mobile home communities can become resident-owned.

About 500 residents of Oak Crest, a mobile home community in Coeur d’Alene, face higher rents following its recent purchase by Utah-based investment company Havenpark Communities.

Some hope to form a homeowners association with the goal of purchasing Oak Crest and turning it into a resident-owned community.

Nonprofits and social service organizations will also be on hand.

Info: Victoria O'Banion at 308-991-5663 or victoria@nwcdc.coop
