Reading Between the Wines is Nov. 18

The Literacy Project of North Idaho will host the Reading Between the Wines benefit on Nov. 18.
The evening will feature wine, words, hors d’oeuvres and desserts to support adult literacy in North Idaho. It will be held in the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center, 405 N. William St., Post Falls.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The event will be from 6-8 p.m.
Tickets are $40 for individuals, $75 for couples.
The nonprofit Literacy Project of North Idaho, an affiliate of ProLiteracy America, provides free adult literacy services and English language acquisition in North Idaho. The Literacy Project has two locations to help adults and families develop the necessary English skills to communicate with their children, doctors, employers, neighbors and community. These locations are in the North Idaho College Molstead Library and in Rathdrum at 15506 Washington St.
The Literacy Project currently serves 38 adult and English as a second language (ESL) learners. It is volunteer-run and exists on the generosity of the community.
