NOTES: Lake City junior Gabby Garasky won the girls 100-yard freestyle as a sophomore, but is not competing in the event this year … Garasky is the top seed in the 100 butterfly (58.25 seconds) and 100 backstroke (58.67) … T-Wolf sophomore Trista Slife is the top seed in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.32) teammate Quinn Taylor, a freshman, is second (1:08.70) … Lake City’s girls relay teams lead in the 200 medley (1:53.14) and 200 freestyle (1:43.23) … Junior Riley Taylor and freshman Quinn Taylor, along with Garasky and Slife make up the medley relay, with freshman Sylvia Strow, junior Demi Blaylock, Slife and Taylor on the freestyle relay … The girls title was the first in program history for Lake City, edging boys 230.5 to 221.5 … Lake City junior Steven Griffith is the top ranked swimmer in the 500 freestyle (5:11.79) after finishing fifth in the event in 2021 … Lake City junior Ben Linford is second in the 100 backstroke (57.18) after finishing third last year ... after holding a virtual-only state meet in 2020, and not allowing fans for the 2021 event, spectators will be allowed for this year for the first time since 2019 ... Boise's boys have won each team title since the Idaho High School Activites Association began sanctioning the meet in 2018.
