OTHELLO — A Moses Lake woman was booked into the Adams County Jail on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle after an Adams County Sheriff’s deputy stopped the car she was driving Monday morning.

Lorna Villanueva-Ozuna, 23, was arrested and a male passenger was released after an ACSO deputy conducted what an ACSO statement called a high-risk vehicle stop. The deputy spotted the car at about 8:20 a.m. on West Bench Road near Othello, the statement said. The deputy was using software that reads license plates, and the software identified the car as stolen.

The car was confirmed to have been stolen in Grant County, according to the statement.
