She holds an associate degree in journalism from North Idaho College and a bachelor's in communication arts from Lewis-Clark State College Coeur d'Alene. DISTRICT 4 SEAT A

Republican Joe Alfieri, Coeur d'Alene — 10,573 votes: 63.61%

Democrat Megan Dardis-Kunz, Coeur d'Alene — 6,048 votes: 36.39%

DISTRICT 4 SEAT B

Republican Elaine Price, Coeur d'Alene — 10,293 votes: 61.32%

Democrat Larry Bieber, Coeur d'Alene — 6,493 votes: 38.68%

DISTRICT 5 SEAT A

Republican Ron Mendive, Coeur d'Alene — 13,527 votes: 78.54%

Democrat Kristy Reed Johnson, Post Falls — 3,696 votes: 21.46%

DISTRICT 5 SEAT B

Republican Tony Wisniewski, Post Falls — 13,597 votes: 78.91%

Democrat Teresa Borrenpohl, Post Falls — 3,633 votes: 21.09%

DISTRICT 2 SEAT B

Republican Dale Hawkins, Fernwood — 5,464 votes: 80.76%

Democrat Tom Stroschein, Elk River — 1,126 votes: 16.64%

Libertarian Jennifer Ann Luoma, Bayview — 176 votes: 2.60%

Geranium sale raises funds to help women reach academic goals.

Petals of radiant red, popping pink, vivid violet and pleasant peach were seen in the early Friday morning sunlight on the lawn of a home near Fernan Lake. Members of the Chapter AG Philanthropic Educational Organization carried trays of flowers and carefully organized pots as they prepared for about 700 geranium plants to go out into the community following a successful annual sale.
