All-state soccer teams announced

The Whitefish Lady Bulldogs had five players named Northwest A all-state, and the state champion Columbia Falls Wildcats had six on the list released Thursday.
Isabelle Cooke, Brooke Roberts, Olivia Genovese, Maya Lacey and Norah Schmidt were all-state and all-conference from Whitefish. Second team all-conference for Whitefish are Madeline Muhlfeld, Delaney Smith and Maeve Ingelfinger.
For the Columbia Falls girls, Hope McAtee and Josie Harris were all-state, Sydney Mann was all-conference, and Zoey Byrd, Taylor Rodgers and Mila Johns were second team selections.
Also selected for all-state honors were Danika Bucklin and Braeden Gunlock of Bigfork. Paeten Gunlock made all-conference for Bigfork.
Polson’s Tia Mercer was selected all-conference second team, as was Scout Nadeau and Piper Buzzell of Bigfork.
Bryce Dunham, Nico Lang, Kai Golan, Andrew Miner, Walton Nichols, Finley Sundberg were Columbia Falls’ boys all-state selections, with Dale Blickhan and Adam Schrader earning all-conference honors.
Bigfork’s Landon Byerman was selected for all-state, as were Collin Lyman and Ryder Eliott of Whitefish.
Columbia Falls’ Ethan Austin, Josiah Kilman and River Wolford were named second-team all conference, as were Libby’s David Bailey and Caleb Riedesel of Bigfork.

Three booked after threatening victim, stealing his car
MOSES LAKE – Three Moses Lake men were booked into the Grant County Jail Tuesday morning for assaulting a man, threatening to kill him and stealing his car on Monday, according to a statement from Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

MOSES LAKE — Kelsey Galvan, 20, of Moses Lake was arrested Sunday after reportedly threatening her parents with a knife and driving away intoxicated with her child unsecured in the vehicle.
