PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Area runners compete at Nike Northwest Regionals

Courtesy photo Ten Coeur d'Alene High athletes competed in the Nike Northwest Regional cross country meet on Saturday at Eagle Island State Park. The Cd'A boys finished seventh in the championship division. Freshman Olivia May was 29th and Max Cervi-Skinner 11th overall. Anna Callahan won the girls race in 17:35.9 and Tyrone Gorze the boys in 14.51.6. In the front is coach Emry Carr. In the second row are Kyle Rohlinger, Zara Munyer, Chloe Frank, Olivia Fishback and Olivia May. In the back are Nathan Russell, Jacob King, Zack Cervi-Skinner, Lachlan May and Max Cervi-Skinner.
Ten Coeur d'Alene High runners competed in the Nike Northwest cross country race on Saturday at Eagle Island State Park. Over 2,500 athletes from Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming competed. Coeur d'Alene freshman Olivia May was 29th in the championship division in 18 minutes, 53.1 seconds and Coeur d'Alene sophomore Max Cervi-Skinner 11th in the championship division in 15:29.5. Anna Callahan won the girls race in 17:35.9 and Tyrone Gorze the boys in 14.51.6.
