Loretta passed away quietly and peacefully into the waiting arms of Jesus on October 2, 2022, at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho surround by her family.

She was born in Archie, Missouri on July 5, 1927 and moved to California with her family in 1940 when she was 13 years old. She graduated from Oakdale High School and shortly after met Lester Lee, the love of her life, at a Grange Hall dance. They married in September of 1945 and resided in Modesto California until his passing in 1993. Following his death, she relocated to Hayden, Idaho and lived with her daughter.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Dalton Gardens. She truly loved serving and sharing the Lord with family and friends. She studied the Bible daily and conducted many Bible studies throughout her life. Being devoted to her faith, she ministered to the elderly in her congregation by visiting and encouraging them in their faith.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Lee and left behind many fond and loving memories for her three grown children: Sharon Kays (Bob), Alvin Lee (Bonnie), Janet Blanchard (Rick); 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Loretta was extremely proud of all her family and their accomplishments. She spent her married life in California raising her family and caring for her parents. She enjoyed taking road trips but most of all reminiscing and telling stories about her family's heritage.

Loretta's viewing will be held from 2:00-4:00PM, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Yates Funeral Home – Hayden Chapel (373 E. Hayden Ave. Hayden, Idaho 83835). She will be interned in Lakewood Cemetery beside her late husband, in Hughson, California.
