September 7
10:21 a.m. The driver of a red Mini Cooper was said to have gone around a line of cars into oncoming traffic on Highway 93 and almost caused a head-on collision with a dump truck. She was giving a warning for her driving.
11:35 a.m. Someone lost an iPhone 12 on Central Avenue a couple nights ago.
2:49 p.m. There is an apparent ongoing issue involving two dogs running loose at the construction area on Trailview Way.
6:11 p.m. On Fourth Street, a reckless driver in a Chevy was also a litterbug as he was throwing items out of the window.
September 8
11:57 p.m. The two, friendly, loose dogs on Trailview Way are still a problem and more so now because they are reported to be in heat.
5:46 p.m. A silver Dodge pickup was driving recklessly throughout Whitefish, driving all over the road and nearly rear-ending the caller while on Highway 40.
September 9
9:30 a.m. Several houses on Ramsey Avenue keep leaving trash out and bears keep getting into it, according to the caller.
9:28 p.m. A bear was walking down the sidewalk on Wisconsin Avenue.
September 10
12:26 p.m. Five panhandlers with their dogs were smoking and harassing customers at a business on Central Avenue.
12:53 p.m. Several vehicles were broken into last night. The thieves reportedly took loose change and threw stuff around inside.
1:38 p.m. An unfortunate soul left her glasses in the porta-potty at the park. It was locked when she went to retrieve them.
3:46 p.m. An adult mountain bike was stolen from Pheasant Run.
5:25 p.m. Someone found a wallet in the road and went to the police station to turn it in.
5:33 p.m. A red Rogue was damaged by a white Toyota in a parking lot on Highway 93.
9:32 p.m. At least five calls came in to police today regarding injured deer.
