BONNERS FERRY — The host Badgers (10-7) defeated the Tigers 25-19, 25-15, 25-20 in the first of two league meetings of the only remaining volleyball teams in the Intermountain League.

Timberlake (2-13) travels to St. Maries tonight.

Lakeside

WALLACE — Tia Hendrick had 14 kills, four aces and three blocks as the host Miners beat the Knights 25-19, 26-24, 28-26 in Scenic Idaho Conference play at Kirby Krulitz Court.

Aubrey Birdsell had 25 digs, Britany Phillips 13 assists for Wallace (7-5, 2-1 SIC), which plays at Mullan tonight.

Arianna Havier-Gorr had eight kills and 16 digs for Lakeside (2-7, 0-4). Martina Rivera added six kills, nine assists, nine digs and three blocks, Kimberly Pluff five kills, nine digs and two aces, Tylah Lambert four kills, 12 assists and 11 digs.

“The girls played hard. I am very proud of them and the progress they have made throughout the season. We have some things to work on and once we get those down, I think we still might have a shot in the district tournament.”

Lakeside plays at Kootenai tonight.

POST FALLS — Callie Smith had six digs, Keira Bohannon five for the visiting Warriors in the 25-3, 25-19, 25-8 loss to the Jaguars junior varsity at The Courts at Real Life.

“There is always room to grow and fix the things that need to be worked on,” Kootenai coach Lacey Bohannon said. “The girls will be back at practice fresh and working to fix the things that they were struggling with during this match.”

Kootenai (0-11) plays host to Lakeside tonight.
