"Finding Love in Big Sky," based on a book by Idaho author Angela Ruth Strong, will show as a fundraiser at 7 p.m. Monday at the Hayden Cinemas.

Tickets are $10. Proceeds will be donated to the Community Cancer Fund in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Strong is an award-winning and Amazon-bestselling author of sweet romance and middle-grade fiction. Her debut novel, "Finding Love in Sun Valley," was originally optioned for film, but when she turned that book into the "Resort to Love" series through Mountain Brook Ink, producer Chevonne O’Shaughnessy decided to film "Big Sky" instead.

In "Finding Love in Big Sky," independent country girl Paisley Sheridan takes on the task of turning her grandfather's ranch into a camp for kids. After being denied the funding needed to refurbish the ranch, she is reintroduced to her ex-boyfriend, Josh Lake, a big-city marketing executive on temporary leave. Admitting she needs help, Paisley agrees to work with Josh while he's in town to come up with ideas on how to raise money for the camp, but she refuses to let herself fall in love with him, knowing he’ll just leave her again.

Strong premiered the movie in the Treasure Valley, where she lives and where the owners of Hayden Cinemas also own the theater where her husband proposed 10 years ago, with a “movie trailer” of their romance.

The Hayden showing will include a book signing, photo ops and a Q&A session with the author.
