Loggers triumph over Bigfork on Senior Night

The Libby Loggers soccer team celebrated Senior Night in style with a 6-4 win over Bigfork Thursday, Oct. 6 at J. Neils Memorial Park.

The Loggers were determined to finish the deal after losing a close game at Bigfork on Sept. 24.

Gabe Hollingsworth and Dylan Warner each scored two goals and Kale Hall scored one. Hollingsworth, Nolan Morris and Gabe Gier each had assists. One goal was an own goal off a corner kick.

According to co-head coaches Cody Pallister and Joe Martineau, “It was a great game. They played well defensively, especially in midfield. They all worked hard.”

In between games, seniors Cylis Goddard, James Warner, Thomas Roark, Hollingsworth, Kyle Svendsbye, David Bailey and Zach Fantozzi were honored for their contributions to the team.

The Loggers wrapped up the season at Columbia Falls on Saturday.
