Kempton, a sophomore from Post Falls High, finished 17th in the recent Lewis-Clark State Invitational in 25 minutes, 30 seconds at the Warriors home course at the Lewiston Orchards. Lewis-Clark State finished fourth in the seven-team meet.

McDevitt, a junior from Lakeland High, was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Rize Laboratory Defensive Player of the Week after a great performance last weekend. McDevitt's efforts propelled the Mounties to a 2-0 weekend. McDevitt helped the Mounties post another scoreless weekend as they took a 6-0 victory over the University of Providence (Mont.) then followed with a 2-0 victory over Rocky Mountain. McDevitt has been an anchor for the Mountaineer defense all season that has posted nine scoreless games through 12 games. "Darby has been our most consistent defender all year," Eastern Oregon coach Jacob Plocher said. "Her ability to win challenges and keep us organized has been vital to our success so far this season." Eastern Oregon is 8-2-2 this season.
