Communities across Kootenai County welcome fall weather and the holiday season with events that bring people together. Below is a list of local adventures, scary events and engaging activities to celebrate Halloween and local culture.
Oct. 14
The Wavy Bunch’s Spectacular SPOOKtacular Night Market and Street Fair
Vendor faire, music festival, immersive arts experience and walkable art exhibit.

Oct. 15
The Broker Sinclair Team’s Ninth Annual Fall Fest
Live music, fall-themed treats, sword forging, a bounce house, a petting zoo and fun yard games.

Oct. 19
Museum of North Idaho’s Cemeteries of Kootenai County Lecture
An opportunity to learn about those who came before us, presented by Pam Barnhouse.

Oct. 22
The Celtic Landing Co.’s Pop Up Pumpkin Patch on the Ranch
After picking the perfect pumpkin, visit one of the stations to paint it, enjoy one of the yard games, grab a treat from Golden Pastries and more.

Annual "Friday Night Frights" drive-through treat giveaway.

Rathdrum Parks and Recreation’s Haunted Hustle
Second 5K Run or Walk.

Kootenai Recovery Community Center’s Halloween Fun
10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Fun crafts, snacks and scary movies.
5 to 8:45 p.m. — After sunset, zombies will come out and a scare zone will open for trick or treaters of all ages.
