Health and healing

HEALING AND HEALTH
For most of my life, Proverbs 3:5-6 have been key verses for me. What a difference it has made for me day after day, year after year, to speak to Him of the trust that I have.
Verse 6 ends with the fact that He will show us which path to take. Today, I would like to add verses 7 and 8. Verse 7 encourages us to fear the Lord, which will cause us to have healing for our body and strength for our bones, which is sometimes called body, as seen in verse 8.
The fear of the Lord is so different from every other kind of fear in the world. It is a deep respect and sense of worship toward Him. I share these thoughts so that you will understand better what I would like to say about healing and health.
In many placed throughout the Old Testament and New Testament, the Lord speaks to us about healing. This includes supernatural miracles and His blessing and assistance on our natural healing processes. Many, though not all, Christians have a good understanding of God’s healing process based on the stripes He bore for us in the process of the crucifixion. It is important to remember, however, that there is scriptural indication that we should expect to walk not only in healings, but in health.
In 3 John 2, the Word says, I would that you would prosper and be in good health.(KJV) Another translation (NLT) says, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. Often some believers will call out to God for his help in times of sickness, injury, or pain, but miss the opportunity to trust God for a life full of health. Troubles may come and go, but my expectation is to enjoy the health that the Lord desires for us day by day.
