SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT: Vote for Flagor and Groth
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 3 years, 2 months AGO
I am writing to support the candidacies of Robert “Bob” Flagor and Jon Groth. Both candidates currently sit on the board for the Kootenai Shoshone Soil & Water Conservation District (KSSCWD). It is imperative to retain these current board members as they have depth, the dedication and the dependability that is needed from a candidate. The experience that these two candidates have are essential to the day-to-day activities as well as the overall success of the District.
Bob Flagor has a combined 21 years of experience as the administrator and currently as a board member. He has the background knowledge as well as the boots on the ground know-how. Jon Groth comes to us from Shoshone County and has the knowledge and voice of the Silver Valley mining as well as Water and Sewer background.
These candidates had developed on going irreplaceable relationships with other agencies and other boards throughout Kootenai and Shoshone County such as NRCS, ISWCC, ISDA, DEQ, IDL, Coeur d'Alene Tribe, Farm Bureau, Cattlemen’s Association, and the Aquifer board just to name a few.
Flagor and Groth not only have the history and knowledge of where we come from, they know how to drive the district in future conservation endeavors to help private landowners, users, and the public in promoting voluntary, non-regulatory, locally led conservation and stewardship of the natural resources in our beautiful area.
Both Flagor and Groth have the knowledge of where we have been and where we need to go in the future.
