MOSES LAKE — People will be able to learn about the services offered through a number of local nonprofit agencies at the Care Fair, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 29 at Youth Dynamics, 106 E. 3rd Ave., Moses Lake.
Organizer Michele Boetger, director of Care Moses Lake, wrote in a press release that the event is designed to make connections.
“Care Fair is bringing together local non-profits and service organizations so they can share their message with the community,” Boetger wrote. “Attendees can learn more about them and how they can show their support.”
About 25 organizations currently are signed up to participate. They include service organizations, groups that help people in need, youth organizations, groups that support animal welfare, arts and community event organizations.
“It’s so important for everyone to do their part,” Boetger wrote. “It really does make a difference.
“There are more than 50 non-profits and service organizations playing an important role in Moses Lake. Whether you feel passionate about helping out our local youth, (helping) animals, feeding those in need, doing service projects, whatever it might be, there’s a group you can support.”
