Margery passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus October 14, 2022, at the age of 89, surrounded by family. She was born in Chadron, Nebraska July 26, 1933, the 3rd of 7 children to Thomas and Madeline Willet.

Marge grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, later moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she met Ray Capaul. They married April 18, 1953, moved to Ray’s hometown Coeur d’Alene, and were blessed with 6 children.

Marge worked at St. Thomas Church for almost 30 years as the parish secretary, retiring in 2000. She volunteered with the St. Thomas Church auxiliary, parish finance committee and soup kitchen along with the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Marge enjoyed a good debate and loved her Chardonnay.

She stated her most rewarding accomplishment was raising 6 successful children and enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom had a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ which she instilled in her family.

Marge is survived by her children: Diana Guild (Scott); Bob Capaul (Eleanora); Kathy Capaul (Randy Bottum); Ken Capaul (Toni); Dorothy Ladewig (Mark); sisters, Vicky, Pat, and Dottie; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Copstead; brothers, Tom, Vern, and Don Willet; grandson, Adam Capaul; and great grandsons, Aiden, Wyatt Copstead, and McCoix Capaul.

A rosary will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Yates Funeral Home-Coeur d’Alene Chapel. The memorial mass will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 28, 2022 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 919 Indiana Ave., Coeur d’Alene. A reception will follow at St. Thomas Parish Center, lunch will be provided by St. Thomas Ladies Auxiliary. Burial will be attended by family.
