K-9 Nado serves residents of Adams Co.

RITZVILLE — Adam’s County Sheriff’s Office has a new K-9 after K-9 Garrett was medically retired this past year. The new K-9, Nado, is a German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix. ACSO Deputy Joe Phillips is Nado’s handler and was also the handler for K-9 Garrett. Nado is two years old and originally from Hungary. He has been trained in both suspect tracking and apprehension and narcotic detection.
