BIDEN’S ADDRESS: Words of a divisive dictator
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 3 years, 6 months AGO
In his most recent presidential address, Joe Biden spoke of dangers that could destroy our democracy. In a tableau reminiscent of the NSDAPs annual Nuremberg Party Rallies, Biden warned of the existential threat posed by… runaway inflation, uncontrolled borders, politicized police, Red China, food and supply shortages, energy uncertainty, Islamist Terrorists?
No, the greatest threat he cited to our freedoms was that posed by “MAGA Republicans.” Yes, he called the loyal opposition in our centuries-old two-party system “the enemy.”
This breathtaking assertion departs from the well-worn American tradition of wrangling over politics while still remaining one people. In a speech intended to echo Lincoln and FDR, Biden explained why the very people who are running against his policies and party this November should now be seen as enemies of the state.
Third world dictators criminalize political opponents, as do Communist and Nazi totalitarians. Progressive and liberal advocates of civility, tolerance and diversity, how long will you give your support to this divisive demagogue?!
