Tamra LeeAnn Tucker was born Dec. 11, 1992, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to James and Debbie Tucker. Tamra died unexpectedly in Williston, N.D., on Sept. 5, 2022.
Tamra grew up in Coeur d'Alene as the youngest of eight siblings. She attended school in the Coeur d'Alene School District, where she excelled as a student, especially in math. She never married.
Tamra grew up camping and picking huckleberries with her dad and twin brother, Thomas. Tamra loved to swim and play basketball. As an adult, Tamra enjoyed social gatherings with friends and family, floating the Coeur d'Alene River and camping. She absolutely loved dogs and was a great dog mom to her two boys, Tank and Whoops. She absolutely loved spending time and spoiling her nieces and nephews whenever she had the chance.
Tamra was well-known for being a very kind and caring person. She had a memorable smile that lit up the room and will be remembered by so many.
Tamra is survived by her father, James Tucker of Orofino, Idaho; Siblings: Casey (Curt) Hammond of Rathdrum, Idaho; Eric (Elizabeth) Bakie of Star, Idaho; Thomas (Hailee) Tucker of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Jani Tucker of Coeur d'Alene; Jami Plant of Coeur d'Alene; Sarah (Micah) Young of Coeur d'Alene; and Kerry (Jason) Wiswall of Coeur d'Alene. Nieces: Abigail, Emily, Azrielle, Charlotte, Jaelyn and Brooke. Nephews: Riley, Wyatt, Hunter and Cameron. Tamra was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at One Place Church, 190 West Centra Drive, Hayden, Idaho, with reception to follow.
Tamra's final resting place will be Riverview Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or to the North Idaho Crisis Center.
