League of Women Voters hosting registration events in Cd'A

Each year, the League of Women Voters U.S. coordinates a national effort to register voters.
This year the organization is celebrating its 10th anniversary of this coordinated #VoterRegistrationDay effort.
Three Coeur d'Alene venues have been organized to register Kootenai County voters on Tuesday, which is National Voter Registration Day:
• The Coeur d'Alene Public Library, 702 E. Front Ave., 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• North Idaho College Edminster Student Union Building, 495 College Drive, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Heritage Health, 1090 W. Park Place, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The non-partisan League of Women Voters of Kootenai County holds a public meeting the second Tuesday of each month at the Lutheran Church of the Master, 4800 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d'Alene. The next meeting is at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Attendees are welcome as early as 1 p.m.
The League of Women Voters encourages informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership is open to men and women of all ages.
