EPHRATA — Grant County Commissioners are seeking two volunteers to sit on the board overseeing Grant County Mosquito Control District 2, which covers the northern tip of the county.

In a press release issued Thursday, commissioners said they are seeking a representative from Electric City and a representative from Grand Coulee to each serve a two-year term on the board. The board meets monthly and provides financial oversight of district operations, the press release said, adding there is no compensation for serving on the board but travel in connection with meetings of board business may be covered.

Grant County Mosquito District 2 covers Electric City, Grand Coulee, Coulee Dam and the northern half of Banks Lake.
