A 24-year-old Coeur d'Alene man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover that blocked Interstate 90 just east of Coeur d'Alene for more than three hours Tuesday.
Idaho State Police reported it is investigating the crash, which took place at 1:46 p.m. in the westbound lanes near milepost 16.
The man was driving a boom-equipped 2020 Peterbilt semi-truck on the westbound downgrade toward Coeur d'Alene. The preliminary investigation indicated the driver took evasive action to avoid striking a passenger vehicle that changed lanes immediately in front of him. The truck rolled and blocked the roadway. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt.
Idaho State Police is asking any witnesses to this crash to contact Sgt. Ron Sutton at 208-209-8620.
