COLUMBIA BASIN – It’s a lighter week of high school sports action here in the Basin as schools have the week off for spring break, but teams return to a full slate of action on Tuesday.

Wednesday, April 5

Othello boys soccer at Cashmere - 1 p.m.

Thursday, April 6

Ephrata boys soccer at Selah - 6 p.m.

Friday, April 7

ACH baseball doubleheader at Selkirk - 12, 2 p.m.

Moses Lake baseball doubleheader at Eastmont - 4, 6 p.m.

Moses Lake boys soccer vs Wenatchee - 7 p.m.

Othello softball doubleheader at Richland, Hanford - 11 a.m., 1 p.m. at Hanford High School.

Zags season ends after loss to San Diego

LAS VEGAS – Gonzaga baseball's 2025 season ended with a 16-7 loss to top-seeded San Diego at the West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament on Friday at Las Vegas Ballpark, according to a statement by Gonzaga Athletics. San Diego took a big lead in the first and never looked back as they extended their season to at least another game.

COLUMBIA BASIN — The spring sports season concludes this weekend as two local baseball teams make their push for a state title. Columbia Basin track teams will also compete at their state meets this week starting Thursday.

PUEBLO, Colo. – Central Washington Track and Field finished seventh at the NCAA Division Two Outdoor Championships over the weekend. Wildcats runner, Emy Ntekpere finished with national champion honors in the women’s high jump and triple jump, according to a statement by Central Washington Athletics.
