Mavs, Knights finish in top 10 at Joe Lenberg Classic

YAKIMA – Boys golf teams from Moses Lake and Royal competed at the Joe Lenberg Classic at the Apple Tree Golf Course in Yakima last weekend. Both squads finished in the top 10, with the Mavericks finishing fourth with 335 strokes and the Knights in 10th with 369 total strokes.
Team scores are calculated based on the top four finishers for each team. See below for individual results
Moses Lake: Quinten Whittall (third place overall, 75 strokes), Mason Bradford (t-18th place, 84 strokes), Isaiah Patino (t-18th place, 84 strokes), C.J. Mathis (37th place, 92 strokes) and Keegan Stickel (56th place, 98 strokes).
Royal: Ezra Jenks (25th place, 86 strokes), Adrien Pruneda (34th place, 89 strokes), Alexis Gonzalez (50th place, 96 strokes), Caden Allred (56th place, 98 strokes) and Trevor Dorsing (85th place, 114 strokes).
Two individual golfers from Wahluke also competed in the Classic. Jesse Tapia placed 91st with 122 strokes and David Ruiz took 99th with 135 strokes.
