Deputies responded to an unattended death call. Deputies on scene did not find anything suspicious.
Deputies responded to a hit and run accident. The victim attempted to follow the suspect but lost sight of the vehicle. A report was completed.
Evening Shift
Deputies responded to a report of a possible weapons offense in the City of Dalton. It was reported a male, who is fed up with speeders in the area, was walking up and down the road with a handgun on his side. Deputies arrived in the area and observed the male walking in front of his residence and was not posing a danger to the public.
Deputies responded to Hayden Super 1 Foods for a shoplifter. The female juvenile was charged with petit theft.
Night Shift
A deputy was doing some routine patrols and observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Stateline Walmart. The deputy observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and contacted the occupants after they exited the store. When detained both occupants advised they injected illegal drugs. Medical was requested and both occupants were taken to KH for treatment. When they are released they will be arrested for active warrants and drug possession.

A deputy made a traffic stop and cited and released the driver for possession of marijuana.

A deputy made a traffic stop and observed signs of intoxication. The driver was charged with DUI.
A deputy noticed a dump trailer parked in the Park and Ride parking lot that looked suspicious. He checked the trailer's VIN number and learned the trailer was stolen out of Washington. The trailer was recovered.
A deputy made a traffic stop on U.S. 95 near Rockford Bay Road. During the contact he learned the female driver had an active felony warrant out of Shoshone County. She was arrested.
