William Roper gives twin brother Cody Roper a big boost during the annual Talking Bird Saloon Tricycle Races in St. Regis on Saturday afternoon. The very patriotic team from St. Regis, dubbed the Caucasian Persuasion, took first place. Troy Chatterly and Rick Forthoffer were the other two racers on the champion four man team. The courthouse lawn was adorned with a giant blow-up Santa, a massive snowman, a fluffy blow-up igloo, and dozens of twinkling lights. Children and families climbed the decorated stairway up to Santa Claus to tell him their wish lists and received goodie bags generously donated by Craig and Deb Sheppard.
