NIC SOFTBALL: Cardinals sweep Treasure Valley; Columbia Basin up next

COEUR d’ALENE — North Idaho College swept the visiting Treasure Valley 12-8 and 15-6 in a Northwest Athletic Conference doubleheader at Memorial Field on Saturday.

NIC, which beat Blue Mountain 13-6 and 17-1 on Friday, improves to 26-9, 18-4 in conference.

NIC hosts Columbia Basin (28-10, 18-6) in a doubleheader on Friday at 2 p.m. The Cardinals are second in the East Region, while the Hawks of Pasco, Wash., are currently third.

Treasure Valley is 18-20, 16-8.
