Schneider, a rising sophomore left-handed pitcher from Coeur d'Alene High, helped the Bruins of Nashville, Tenn, win the 2022-23 Missouri Valley Conference All-Academic Award. During the academic year, Belmont student-athletes posted a 3.522 grade point average to place ahead of Evansville and Northern Iowa. Since 2002-03, the award has been presented to the school that finishes with the best GPA among its student-athletes in a conference-sponsored sport.
