COEUR d’ALENE — Nonprofit makerspace Gizmo-CDA has reopened on the North Idaho College campus.

“At this time, we will still be making adaptations and using alternative spaces for our Gizmo’s youth classes until we can resolve the final few details,” Gizmo said Thursday via email.

Gizmo closed earlier this month after it was determined that the nonprofit had not obtained a certificate of occupancy when it moved to the NIC campus in 2018.

Kids camps and administrative operations continued in other spaces on campus during the temporary closure.
