The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat watch for much of eastern Washington and northern Idaho from Monday through Thursday. An extreme heat watch indicates a high risk for heat-related illnesses for much of the population, pets and livestock, especially with extended outdoor exposure.
NOTE: An excessive heat warning is in effect until Aug. 17 at 11 p.m.
Monday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 102. Clear in the evening, with a low around 74.
Tuesday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 107. Mostly clear late in the day, with a low around 72.
Wednesday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 105. Mostly clear at night, with a low around 73.
Thursday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 103. Low in the evening around 69.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 93.
