Non-BFHS students can participate in standardized tests

BONNERS FERRY — Homeschooled students and other students that live in Boundary County, but do not attend Boundary County School District are still able to take the Pre-SAT and other national testing.

The PSAT is for 10th graders, especially those planning to take the SATs in the future. There is an administrative fee of $15 for non-BFHS students.

NMSQT is for 11th graders interested in qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship. There is a fee for the test and an administrative fee.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, or ASVAB which is a standardized test for military recruiting, is open to 11th graders. There is no fee.
