Cady, a 5-foot-11, junior linebacker, had two interceptions for the Vikings in the team’s 27-21 season-opening win over the two-time state 5A champion Rigby Trojans on Friday at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Missoula. Cady, who also plays wide receiver, had three catches for 17 yards. “Jayson works very hard at being prepared,” Coeur d’Alene coach Shawn Amos said. “That work definitely paid off.”
