BONNERS FERRY — Badger football hosted its third annual Blue and White scrimmage and barbecue.
The scrimmage allows the team to work through its defense and offense in a game-like setting on the field and in front of the home crowd.
On the sideline, Badger cheer took full advantage of practicing leading the crowd cheering for the Badgers, which was difficult with the bleachers no longer standing due to remodeling.
Head coach Danny Swift said the scrimmage showed the team has positive things to build upon.
“With a young team, we are hoping to take positive steps forward each week and continue towards our goal of being the best version of ourselves,” he said. “Working to shore up the finer details across the board.”
He thanked the community for turning out to support Badger football.
