The Columbia Falls volleyball team ended up fourth in the North at the Northwest-Southwest Tip-Off tournament last weekend.
It was an up and down tourney for the girls, said coach Jolandie Brooks.
“We didn’t play to our potential on Friday; we dropped a couple sets we could have won. We didn’t lose a set on Saturday and played with less inhibition, more cohesive. We came out fourth in the North, played Stevensville in our match-up game and won in two,” she said.
Complete results were not available.
The girls face off against Frenchtown at home Thursday.

City passes emergency bear ordinance
The Columbia Falls City Council Monday night passed an emergency bear ordinance that requires people to secure garbage and other attractants from bears roaming into town.
