Spirit Lake parade set for Sunday

SPIRIT LAKE — What is billed as the world's shortest parade is set for 11 a.m. Sunday in Spirit Lake.
The longtime Labor Day celebration traditionally lasts just a few minutes, with a handful of entries.
It's about two blocks long, going up Maine Street and making its way to City Park, where the fun continues from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with music and vendors coordinated by the Spirit Lake Event Committee and a car show sponsored by Spirit Lake Roy Racy VFW Post 1473.
