ROYAL CITY — The Knights were crowned the champions of 1A football for the third straight season in 2022, defeating Mt. Baker 35-20 in the state championship game in December. Check out these scenes from throughout the 2022 season.

Royal’s lone loss last season was against Lynden Christian in a 21-14 contest on Sept. 24. After the Week 4 loss, the Knights outscored their opponents 270-15 in the remaining five regular season games.
