Mary L. Neidhardt, 75

Mary L. (Moser) Neidhardt passed away July 3, 2023, at Kootenai Medical Center with her devoted daughter and son-in-law by her side.  

Mary was born Aug. 5 to Harold (Hal) Moser and Edna Moser (Prosch) in Inglewood, Calif., along with twin sister Kathleen. The family moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in March of 1962. Mary graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1965. Mary worked for her father at his dental lab in downtown Coeur d'Alene and after his passing she went on to work at The Manor House Restaurant and Merrills Cafe. She spent several summers working at Yellowstone National Park which she said was her favorite job and one of her favorite places. Once she decided not to return to Yellowstone she worked at the Flamingo Motel & The Shilo Inn for several years before retiring. Mary loved animals but always had a special place in her heart for cats, she loved to read, chocolate was her favorite treat, she never forgot a birthday, she liked playing Yahtzee with her mothers and could add the dice before they hit the table.  

Mary leaves behind her loving daughter, Michelle Cook, son-in-law Clarence Cook, grandson Christopher Cook, granddaughter Hana Cook, great-granddaughter Nova Cook, sister Kathy (Moser) Goodson, along with five nieces, one nephew and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, much loved stepfather John Prosch and sister Ila Jones.
