Lovett, a redshirt junior from Post Falls High, won five straight matches, including a 4-3 decision over Virginia Tech's Caleb Henson in the 149-pound championship match at the Cliff Keen Invitational on Saturday in Las Vegas. Lovett is 11-0 on the season with three wins by technical fall and major decision.

Fahy, a 6-foot-1 junior opposite hitter from Coeur d'Alene High, had 19 kills and six blocks for the Wolfpack of New Orleans this season. Loyola (26-7) advances to the NAIA Tournament, falling in the opening round to Southern Oregon in Ashland, Ore.

Vanguard volleyball

Phillips, a 5-10 junior outside hitter from Coeur d'Alene High, appeared in 12 matches for the Lions (29-2) of Costa Mesa, Calif., who advanced to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Tournament. Phillips had 11 kills on the season.

Courtney Garwood

Corban volleyball

Garwood, a 5-7 junior setter from Coeur d'Alene High, appeared in 21 matches, finishing with 278 assists and nine aces for the Warriors of Salem, Ore. Corban finished 28-7 after going 1-1 in the NAIA Tournament.
