It was December of 2019 when the last Ecumenical Community Concert took place, and now the dearly missed Christmas musical event has been reborn. The LDS church in Superior had a full and eager audience on Monday December 4, with much of the crowd arriving early to listen to a prelude of band pieces. (Mineral Independent/Amy Quinlivan)

One of Santa's helpers, Mary Murphy-Kellis invited the children in the crowd to come down and sit at her feet as she read the story of the Candy Cane and how the J is for Jesus. She then handed out handmade bead candy cane ornaments for the kids to bring home. (Mineral Independent/Amy Quinlivan)
