Swimmers head to Great Falls

“We had a great start to the season,” Columbia Falls High School swim coach Amy Caudill reported following the team’s first meet in Kalispell on Saturday.
Highlights included a third place win in the boys 200 medley by Thane Borgen, Connor Keith, Quinn Clark and Kanen Bricket, as well as Keith earning first in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:09. Clark took seventh in the 200 free and Teagan Bates eighth. In the 100 back stroke, Borgen took sixth, Avic Lime eighth and Bates ninth. Tristan Victor took ninth place in the 100 breast stroke.
“It was exciting to see all of the new swimmers establish themselves in [high school] swimming. We are looking forward to our weekend in Great Falls,” Caudill said.
The swimmers will start at 4 p.m. in Great Falls High School’s pool on Friday, Dec. 15 for the Great Falls Relay Meet, continuing Saturday at noon.
