Kenzie Dean

Lewis-Clark State volleyball

Dean, a 5-foot-4 senior libero from Timberlake High, was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, the school announced. Dean will graduate this spring with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Health. She earned a grade point average of 3.51 heading into her final semester and concluded her Warrior career ranked second all-time in career digs with 1,659 and led Lewis-Clark State in digs per set (3.90) this season and averaged 3.79 digs per set through her five-year career. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have participated in at least 90% of the school's scheduled competitions and maintain a 3.50 GPA.

Bridget Rieken

Washington State soccer

Rieken, a 6-foot graduate student defender from Lake City High, was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. Rieken recently completed her career, appearing in 87 matches, with 84 starts. As a centerback, Rieken scored three goals this fall, finishing with nine for her career with four assists. 

Washington State soccer senior Bridget Rieken was named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced in late November. Rieken completed her Cougar career with 87 career matches played and 84 career starts.

Abbey Neff

Lewis-Clark State volleyball

Neff, a 5-7 junior setter from Lakeland High, was also selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. A Radiographic Science major, Neff is also minoring in Business Administration. The junior holds a GPGA of 3.92 and led the Warriors in assists (342) and assists per set (3.84) this season. In her first year at Lewis-Clark State after transferring from North Idaho College, Neff collected 116 digs for 1.30 per set.  

Katy Ryan

Washington State volleyball

Ryan, a 6-5 junior opposite hitter from Lakeland High, was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for the third time. Ryan, the WSU Student Athlete of the Month for October, is an Elementary Education major who averaged 2.27 kills per set while hitting .279% this year. Ryan, who has started the past three seasons, was an honorable mention All-Pac-12 honoree, with 13 matches with double-digit kills.

Chris Swider

Gonzaga men's soccer

Swider, a 5-9 junior forward/midfielder, was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic team after being named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. To be considered for the conference honor, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 GPA, while also being a significant contributor to his team and in at least their second year at their school.
