Martin, a junior, won the 170-pound title at the Tri-State Invitational on Saturday at North Idaho College, pinning Capital’s Ezekiel McEwen in 3 minutes, 56 seconds for his first Tri-State title after finishing fourth in 2022. “When you’re doing things the right way and working hard to get better, good things are going to happen for you,” Post Falls coach Pete Reardon said. “He’s become a leader and is doing all the extra stuff to get better. It’s really cool to see it happen for him.”
