Colorful lighting and on-ice decorations helped set the scene for skaters to display their talents during the Glacier Skate Academy's "Winter Wonderland on Ice" show on Saturday and Sunday at the Stumptown Ice Den in Whitefish.
A large crowd gathered at each show to support over 40 kids who performed in 29 numbers during the show. A mix of heartfelt wintery music with comical numbers thrown in made for an entertaining performance.
Glacier Skate Academy is a nonprofit club and the annual Winter Wonderland show is its largest fundraising event of the year. For more information about the club visit glacierskateacademy.org.

Bilingual Montessori preschool opens opportunities in Whitefish
At Big Sky Montessori, children will be greeted with, “Hola, ¿como estás?” They will learn replies like “Muy bien” meaning “very good” or “¡Fantástico!” which is Spanish for “Fantastic!” Throughout the year, the kids, ranging from ages 2 to 6 years old, will be introduced to many Spanish phrases and words in the preschool classroom.
