Whitefish’s Norah Schmidt commits to Gonzaga

Whitefish High School senior all-state goalkeeper Norah Schmidt on Thursday signed a National letter of intent to play soccer at Gonzaga University.
Schmidt has been the starting keeper for the Lady Bulldogs for three years. Whitefish was in the playoff mix for all of those seasons and this fall Schmidt and her team became State A Champions with a 3-1 win over Columbia Falls. In the final Schmidt was key after hitting her head on a goalpost, but managing to continue competing and saving several Wildkat shots.
Schmidt also earned all-state in soccer in 2022. She also competes in track and field for Whitefish.
