Erika Skindlov
Eastern Oregon soccer
Skindlov, a 2019 graduate of Coeur d'Alene High, recently completed her collegiate career at NAIA Eastern Oregon in La Grande. Eastern Oregon qualified for nationals in 2019 and 2020, and Skindlov — a midfielder/forward — was the first Mountaineer to score a goal at the national final site in 2019. She was second-team All-Cascade Conference in 2020 and 2021, first team in 2022 and 2023 and a scholar-athlete in 2022 and 2023. Skindlov leaves Eastern Oregon finishing in the Top 10 of 18 different statistical categories, and is the school's all-time leader in games played in a single season (23), career penalty kick attempts (3) and penalty kicks made (3). "Erika's career at Eastern will go down as one of the best ever," Eastern Oregon coach Josh Goodman said. "Throughout her time at EOU, she provided so much that doesn't show on the stat sheet. Erika is one of the trickiest players to ever play in the conference. She is so hard to get off the ball and can carry a team forward on her own. There's never been a player who's controlled temp and got us playing like Erika. Her hard work and leadership, mixed with her attitude toward others is something we are truly going to miss."
