SPOKANE VALLEY — Once the first shot dropped, it got contagious quickly — and often — for Lake City from beyond the 3-point line.
The Timberwolves, sparked by a season-high 20 3-pointers as a team, seven from Bradyn Arrieta, beat the Central Valley Bears 91-78 in the Central Valley Holiday Tournament on Thursday.
Arrieta finished with 25 points for Lake City (7-4).
“It was really fun to watch because we really sprayed the ball around,” Lake City coach James Anderson said. “Braydn got going and really sparked us. Both Reese (Strawn) and Cason (Miller) did a good job of finding him and getting hot. There were a lot of guys that got going. When we’d drive to the basket, they were forcing us to shoot, which played right into our hands.”
