William Allen Sims, born June 7, 1944, in Gooding, Idaho, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, in Post Falls, Idaho.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Henrie, brothers Sam Sims and Mike Sims, along with his son, David Sims (Lindsay Sims), daughter Christy Haug (Geoffrey Haug), his 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was a man of great faith in Christ and played an active role in the lives of his children and grandchildren.
His influence will carry on in the lives of those he touched. Bill was a hard worker and an excellent teacher, and spent most of his working career in the logging industry.
He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. He is with the Lord, where there is no more pain and no more sorrow.
His memorial/celebration of life will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, Idaho, on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 1:00 in the afternoon. All are welcome!
